Jasmine is from the Dalit community (the untouchables). She lives with her grandmother. Her parents have already left her and gone to Kuwait. They do not take care of her and are not in touch with her as well. Her living conditions are very terrible and her old grandmother cannot work even to feed her properly. She lives in a rented house and Dolma has been supporting her since she was 6 years old.
