Empowering Communities: Transforming Lives Through Plumbing Skills

The program welcomed 20 participants from diverse backgrounds, including previous Dolma Foundation students, Dalits, members of the local army camp, and other residents of Dhunche. This initiative aimed to provide them with practical skills and a pathway toward sustainable livelihoods.
The comprehensive training covered a range of essential plumbing skills, such as:

Safety rules and regulations
Fixing fittings and understanding the water supply system
Pressure testing and use of test machines
Metric system calculations and ISO standards
Safe use of tools and interpreting plumbing symbols and codes
Installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems

This hands-on training not only equipped participants with valuable technical skills but also empowered them to contribute meaningfully to their communities while enhancing their prospects for employment.
