Rebuilding Lives, One Home at a Time in Bridim

In Bridim, new homes are rising, built on hope, resilience, and the will to begin again.

High in the mountain village of Bridim, the sound of hammers and laughter echo once more. Dolma Foundation’s rebuilding work continues, with four new earthquake-safe homes under construction for families who lost everything in the 2015 earthquake.

The progress is steady and filled with purpose. Building materials have been delivered, skilled hands are hard at work, and the foundations of these new homes already stand strong against the Himalayan wind. Within the next two weeks, four families will have not only a roof over their heads but the comfort and dignity of a home they can truly call their own.

For Dolma Foundation, each home represents far more than brick and mortar. It symbolises resilience, safety, and the unshakable spirit of a community that refused to give up. And as these houses near completion, many more are on the way — each one a promise that in Bridim, hope is being rebuilt, one home at a time.

Hope grows when someone like you reaches out.
